High Rise Coffee Roasters carries a more diverse variety of specialty coffees than most small batch roasters, with over 30 different varietals on hand at all times. In order to keep it fresh, we roast in small batches and rotate our stock constantly. If you don't see something you like today, we'll likely have something new to offer tomorrow. Our mission is to attain high quality coffee beans, roast them to perfection and get them to you fresh.
High Rise Coffee Roasters is a family owned and operated specialty micro-roaster located in the historic 'Old Colorado' shopping district of Colorado Springs, Colorado. We've been roasting beans for folks along the front range since 1995. We carefully monitor each small batch roast, paying special attention to the sound and color of each bean.
We've found that small batch drum-roasting is the best way to roast coffee, as it allows us to maintain complete control over the entire roasting process. We buy and roast small lots, and roast in small batches. Our dedication to only purchasing the highest quality beans, coupled with our stringent commitment to freshness, allows us to produce exemplary coffee that has kept our customers coming back for over 20 years.
We understand the quality of our product is closely associated with the care and attention it receives while it is being grown. As a result, we proudly source our beans from importers that keep a close -and direct-relationship with farmers. While we maintain a lot of control as roasters, we understand that bean flavor actually begins at the farm level. We make endeavors to be environmentally conscientious by using an afterburner on our roaster which significantly reduces volatile emissions, promote sustainable brewing methods as well as conduct extensive recycling and repurposing of waste.
