You'll find this Indonesian coffee to be smooth and vibrant but still relatively low in acid. It's flavor is earthly, bold and rich with a medium body. Some say it's similar in flavor to the Mandheling coffees of Sumatra.
This coffee comes to us from the Indonesian island of Sulawesi, formerly Celebese. The island spreads like a huge four-fingered hand in the middle of the Malay Archipelago. The Sulawesi is grown in a mountainous region near the base of the southwestern finger of the island, north of the port of Ujung Padang. The region and the coffee, Toraja, are named after the colorful indigenous people that inhabit the region. (1Lb. bag)
