This coffee comes to us from the CONFROCAFE Coffee Cooperative, located in the Jaen and San Ignacio provinces of Northern Peru. CENFROCAFE is comprised of about 2,000 small farms, which produce both Fair Trade and Organically grown coffee. The CO-OP supports farms both commercially and also in terms of sustainable development. In addition, they provide loans to farmers that help to cover the costs of harvesting, production and sending their children to school. 

You'll find our Organic Peru Norte is medium bodied and accented by clean, bright, and smooth acidity.  The discerning coffee drinker may pick up the subtle notes of fruit and chocolate.(1Lb. bag)
